Sergio Ramos Switches From Nike To Adidas

Sergio Ramos has switched from Nike to Adidas following his ten year relationship with Nike.

Ramos announced that he would move on from Nike in September, with Adidas, Under Armor, Puma and New Balance all battling for his signature.

Ramos joins the likes of Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino at Adidas.

Ramos' current Real Madrid contract ends in June 2021.

Arsenal Offered Christian Eriksen On Steep Discount

Arsenal has been offered the opportunity to sign Christian Eriksen to a deal worth less than the £16.9 million Inter Milan paid Tottenham Hotspur only 10 months ago.

Eriksen left Spurs for Inter in January and has quickly fallen out of favor under Antonio Conte.

Spurs have privately ruled out any possibility of re-signing Eriksen.

Arsenal has struggled for creativity this season.

Diego Maradona Passes Away At 60

Diego Maradona has passed away at his home at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack. Maradona was considered by many to be the greatest player of all-time.

Maradona won the 1986 World Cup with Argentina, winning the Golden Ball as the best player of the tournament.

After several seasons playing in his native Argentina with Argentinos Juniors and Boca Juniors, Maradona starred in Europe for Barcelona and Napoli.

Maradona has battled a number of health issues over the years between drug abuse and obesity. 

Maradona served as manager of Argentina for the 2010 World Cup.

Juventus are now interested in signing Eduardo Camavinga, according to reports in Italy.

The 18-year-old Camavinga has been frequently linked with Real Madrid in the past. 

Juventus had interest in bringing back Paul Pogba, but determined the midfielder to be too expensive.

Camavinga is set to enter the final year of his contract with Rennes.

Giovanni Reyna Signs Extension With Dortmund Through 2025

Giovanni Reyna has signed a long-term contract with Borussia Dortmund through 2025.

Reyna received interest from clubs in both the Premier League and La Liga, but he was focused on remaining with Dortmund.

"BVB are a big club that can challenge for titles and are in all the important competitions," Reyna said. "Young players in particular have the chance to develop here.

"I have already learned a lot in Dortmund and I want to learn a lot more in future. I look forward to being with BVB in the long term."

Lionel Messi said he's tired of being blamed for issues at Barcelona after he was accused by Antoine Griezmann's former agent of making life difficult for him.

Eric Olhats had accused Messi of having too much control at Barcelona.

“The truth is that I’m a little tired of always being the problem for everything at the club,” Messi told them. “On top of that, after a 15-hour flight, I had the tax authorities waiting for me. It’s madness.”

Messi's contract expires at the end of the current season.

Pep Guardiola has signed a contract extension with Manchester City until 2023.

Guardiola's deal was set to run out at the end of the current season.

"Ever since I arrived at Manchester City I have been made to feel so welcome in the club and in the city itself, from the players, the staff, the supporters, the people of Manchester and the chairman and owner," Guardiola said.

"Since then we have achieved a great deal together, scored goals, won games and trophies, and we are all very proud of that success. Having that kind of support is the best thing any manager can have. I have everything I could possibly want to do my job well and I am humbled by the confidence the owner, chairman, Ferran [Soriano] and Txiki [Begiristain] have shown in me to continue for two more years after this season.

"The challenge for us is to continue improving and evolving, and I am very excited and about helping Manchester City do that."

Javier Mascherano announced his retirement from soccer on Sunday.

The 36-year-old is the most-capped player in Argentina national team history.

"I lived my profession 100%, to the maximum that I possibly can, and for a while now that has been getting harder. Sometimes you don't choose the end, it happens all by itself," said Mascherano.

Mascherano won 19 trophies over a eight year span at Barcelona.

Wayne Rooney will take over the team on an interim basis.

Derby, currently with six points, sit at the bottom of the Championship table.

The most important thing now is to stabilise the club and start moving up the table.
