Antonio Conte has reached agreement to become the next manager of Napoli.
Conte sat out the 23-24 season after he parted ways with Tottenham Hotspur toward the end of the 22-23 season.
Conte last managed in Italy between 2019 and 2021 at Inter Milan.
Kieran McKenna has signed a new contract to remain as manager of Ipswich as they are promoted to the Premier League next season.
McKenna received interest from Brighton, Chelsea and Manchester United.
McKenna led Ipswich to successive promotions.
Chelsea have come to agreement with Enzo Maresca on a five-year deal to become their next manager.
Maresca led Leicester City to promotion in April.
Chelsea parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino at the end of the season after finishing sixth in the Premier League.
Maresca also had a brief stint managing Parma in 2021, as well as serving as an assistant under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
Leonardo Bonucci has retired at the age of 37.
Bonucci spent 12 seasons at Juventus, with spells at AC Milan, Treviso, Pisa, Bari, and Union Berlin, before he finished his career with a short stint at Fenerbahçe last season.
Bonucci was one of the world's most complete central defenders throughout his career.
Manchester City would like to receive a decision from Pep Guardiola on his future with the club by Christmas. Guardiola is entering the final season of his contract with City.
City would like Guardiola to extend, but he is leaning toward leaving after the expanded FIFA Club World Cup in the summer of 2025.
City want as much time as possible to come up with a succession plan if Guardiola leaves. Both Bayern Munich and Barcelona struggled to find new managers this year despite early announced exits from Thomas Tuchel and Xavi.
Guardiola is unlikely to take another job in club management, but he does have interest in a national team.
Bayern Munich have announced Vincent Kompany as their new manager after agreeing to a $12.7 million fee with Burnley.
Kompany will replace Thomas Tuchel as manager after the club struggled for several months to find his replacement.
"I'm really looking forward to the challenge at FC Bayern," Kompany said in a statement. "It's a great honour to be able to work for this club -- FC Bayern is an institution in international football."
Borussia Dortmund have not ruled out the possibility of making a move for Mason Greenwood.
Greenwood spent the season on loan at Getafe where he scored eight goals in 33 league appearances and was their player of the season.
Juventus and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with Greenwood, who has one season remaining on his contract with Manchester United.
Greenwood has not played for United since appearing in a 1-0 Premier League win against West Ham United at Old Trafford in January 2022. A week later, he was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault, with Greater Manchester Police confirming the existence of "social media images and videos posted by a woman reporting incidents of physical violence." United immediately suspended the then-20-year-old from training and matches "until further notice."
The CPS dropped all charges against Greenwood in February 2023 due to "a combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction."
Chelsea will offer Enzo Maresca a five-year deal to become their next manager.
Mauricio Pochettino and Chelsea parted ways at the conclusion of this season.
Maresca is prepared to leave Leicester after guiding them back to the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola will spend the summer considering his future with Manchester City as he enters the final season of his current contract.
City would like to extend Guardiola, but understand he would like to contemplate his future.
Speaking during City’s latest title-winning parade on Sunday, he said: “Even myself, I couldn’t expect to stay here eight years, but everything goes well. Step by step we are here. It looks routine but it’s not routine.”
Manchester United have reached out to Roberto De Zerbi about potentially replacing Erik ten Hag as manager. Ten Hag is likely to be fired though no announcement has been made.
De Zerbi manages an attractive possession-based style of play while at Brighton. De Zerbi left Brighton by mutual consent at the end of this season. Thomas Tuchel, Kieran McKenna, Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Frank are also on the shortlist to replace Ten Hag.
Tuchel was previously favorite to replace Ten Hag but Sir Jim Ratcliffe is an admirer of all the candidates and is keeping an open mind.
