Roberto De Zerbi has been hired by Marseille as manager.
De Zerbi led Brighton to a sixth-place finish in the Premier League during the 22-23 season.
Marseille had three different managers during the 23-24 season, culminating with Jean-Louis Gasset in the post. Marseille finished eighth in Ligue 1.
Leicester City has hired Steve Cooper as manager on a three-year deal, replacing Enzo Maresca.
Cooper was most recently manager of Nottingham Forest until his dismissal in December.
“I am really excited and proud to be appointed Leicester’s manager,” said Cooper. “This is a fantastic club with a rich history and passionate supporters. I am excited to work with such a talented squad and I’m looking forward to the challenge of achieving our shared ambitions in the Premier League.”
Leicester was close to hiring Graham Potter, but those talks stalled and the club pivoted to Cooper.
Leicester City are close to a deal with Graham Potter to replace Enzo Maresca as manager. Potter has been out of work since he was fired by Chelsea in April 2023.
Maresca left Leicester to replace Mauricio Pocehttino as manager of Chelsea.
Potter has been looking for a job situation similar to the one he had at Brighton.
Kylian Mbappe will not need to undergo surgery on his broken nose, but he will miss France's next match on Friday against the Netherlands.
Mbappe will wear a custom-made mask when he returns.

The schedule for the 24-25 La Liga season has been announced with Real Madrid hosting Barcelona at the Bernabeu on Oct. 27.
The second Clasico will take place on May 11 in Barcelona.

Serigo Ramos will leave Sevilla this summer amid interest from the MLS and Saudi Arabia.
Ramos played in 37 matches and scored seven goals.
Sevilla began his career with Sevilla, making his first-team debut in February 2004, before moving to Real Madrid in 2005 for €27 million.
If Ramos moves to the MLS, he has been linked with San Diego FC.
Real Madrid are attempting to sign Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window.
Davies' contract with Bayern expires in 2025 and he's been previously linked with Madrid. Madrid would like to upgrade the left-back position and are not settled on Ferland Mendy.
Bayern have made an extension offer, but it is believed to be considerably less than what Davies is prepared to accept.
Madrid previously signed Toni Kroos from Bayern at an affordable price when he had a season remaining on his deal.
Edin Terzic has stepped down as manager of Borussia Dortmund less than two weeks after guiding them to the Champions League final.
"Dear Borussians, even though it hurts me brutally right now, I would like to let you know that I will be leaving BVB as of today," Terzic said in a statement.
"It was a huge honor to lead this great club to a German Cup victory and, most recently, to a Champions League final.
"After our final at Wembley, I asked those in charge for a chat because after ten years at BVB, five of them as part of the coaching team and two and a half as head coach, I feel that the upcoming new start should be accompanied by a new man on the touchline."
Erik ten Hag will return as manager of Manchester United for the 24-25 season. United took several weeks to decide whether or not to retain Ten Hag, who guided the club to a disappointing eighth place finish.
United, however, defeated Manchester City in the FA Cup in an impressive display from some of their younger players.
Ten Hag and United will discuss an extension as he enters the final season of his contract.
United sounded out Thomas Tuchel, Roberto De Zerbi, Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Frank and Kieran McKenna as potential replacement targets.
