Liverpool confirmed that Fabinho damaged ligaments in his ankle during a Champions League match against Napoli.

Fabinho will be out until January.

Liverpool will play in the Club World Cup on December 18th.

Pep Guardiola confirmed that Sergio Aguero will be out for an extended period due to a muscle injury.

“He will be out a few weeks. Exactly [how long] I don’t know. He will miss the derby – maybe we’ll have a miracle but I don’t think so," said Guardiola.

City are already without Aymeric Laporte and Leroy Sane due to long-term injury.

Gabriel Jesus will replace Aguero in the lineup.

James Rodriguez will miss the next 6 weeks due to a sprained ligament in his knee.

Rodriguez suffered the injury while on international duty with Colombia.

Rodriguez, who is likely to miss El Clasico, will probably not play until 2020.

Diego Costa was diagnosed with a herniated disc in his neck. He could miss up to 3 months if the injury requires surgery.

Costa has just two goals this season.

Atletico Madrid have no plans to replace Costa in the winter transfer window.

Barcelona are reportedly worried about the high number of muscle-related injuries after Nelson Semedo was ruled out for five weeks with a calf problem.

Barcelona have endured 15 muscle-related injuries since August.

The club believes that a preseason trip to Japan could have contributed to the amount of injuries.

Ernesto Valverde said that he is making slight adjustments to their training style.

"We've not changed the way of training [this season], but we are correcting some aspects of what we do," said Valverde.

Liverpool are reportedly concerned about Mo Salah's latest ankle injury suffered during their 3-1 win over Manchester City.

Liverpool wanted Salah to undergo a scan following the match, though Salah insisted on doing testing with the Egyptian national team.

Salah initially suffered the injury against Leicester City in October, and has been hampered since.

West Ham's Manuel Lanzini will miss at least two months after fracturing his collarbone.

Lanzini suffered the injury during the team's 3-0 loss to Burnley. 

West Ham are now winless in their last 6 matches.

Ederson will miss Manchester City's match this weekend versus Liverpool due to a muscular injury.

Pep Guardiola expressed confidence in Bravo, who has not made a Premier League start since May 2018.

“Why should I doubt any player in my team? Why do you ask these questions? You have to respect this guy – he has won trophies and the Copa América. Bravo can do it, of course. We won the Carabao Cup with him, he’s an exceptional keeper, played a lot of games with his national team," said Guardiola.

Andre Gomes could return from his dislocated ankle injury this season.

Gomes was initially ruled out for the entire year.

"It's not easy to give a sure date about when he will return, feedback from the medical staff is it is possible we will see him playing again this season," said Marco Silva.

Son Heung-min's red card for the challenge was overturned.

Paul Pogba will be at least another month with an ankle injury.

Manchester United expect Pogba to return before Christmas. 

Pogba last played in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal on September 30th.
