Lionel Messi was subbed off at halftime of Barcelona's match against Villarreal with an injury to his left leg. 

Messi was making his first start of the season after missing time with a calf injury.

Messi provided an assist to Antoine Griezmann in Barcelona's 2-1 win. 

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said that Marcus Rashford could miss time with a groin injury.

"He felt his groin so probably be out for a little while. I can update you later when I know a little more. It is just one of these moments. We've had, histrionically, loads of centre-backs of the last few years struggling with injuries. At the moment it is strikers. Hopefully Mason and Anthony will be back for Arsenal and hopefully one for Rochdale," said Solskjaer following United's 2-0 loss to West Ham.

Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, and Luke Shaw also missed the match due to injury.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hinted that teenager Mason Greenwood could keep his place on the team after scoring in to Europa League.

"It's always hard to keep players who perform well out of the team. If he keeps scoring goals, he'll play. If he keeps scoring goals when he's on the pitch he'll get more minutes in the Premier League as well and he'll get his first [league] start soon."

Jordi Alba is set to miss Barcelona's next three league games with a hamstring injury.

Alba suffered the injury in the first half of Barca's Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund.

Junior Firpo will cover Alba at left back. 

John Stones will miss up to six weeks after suffering a thigh injury.

With Aymeric Laporte also out due to injury, Pep Guardiola will use Fernandinho as a makeshift centerback.

“I like it, to prove myself and show we are able to find a solution for the team, to make an incredible step forward and find a solution to this problem that we have," said Guardiola of the challenge of filling in centerbacks.

Teenagers Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Eric García will be used as backups. 

Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani will miss PSG's Champions League match against Real Madrid due to injury.

Neymar will also miss the match due to a suspension from last season.

The injuries could force Mauro Icardi to start against Real Madrid. 

Marcelo will sit out Real Madrid's Champions League clash against PSG with a back injury.

New summer signing Ferland Mendy is set to replace Marcelo at left back.

Isco, Luka Modric, Marco Asensio and Fede Valverde will also miss the match due to injury.

Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial are set to miss Manchester United's clash versus Leicester City.

Both players are also expected to miss next Thursday's Europa League match against Astana.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jesse Lingard could also miss tomorrow's match. 

Naby Keita will return to training with Liverpool next weekend following their Champions League match against Napoli.

Keita has been out since the start of the season after injuring his hip.

"Naby is close, much closer than Ali. I think he could be in training when we come back from Napoli next week," said Klopp.

Alisson is targeting Liverpool's October 20th match against Manchester United to return to the side.

The 26-year-old keeper has been out with an injured calf since opening day.

"It was a really serious injury in the calf. It is now much better, of course, and that's good for us and good for him, but we don't know exactly [how long it will be]. The target was always after the next international break [that] he could be ready, but we don't know," said Jurgen Klopp.
