Nemanja Matic could be out for a month with a muscle injury.

Matic picked up the injury during training on Saturday.

Matic has not missed a league game since the 1-1 draw with Wolves in September. 

Harry Kane has returned to training after missing over a month with an ankle injury.

Kane suffered the injury on January 13th against Manchester United.

Tottenham have won all 4 league matches in his absence. 

Edinson Cavani will miss the first leg of PSG's Champions League draw against Manchester United with an injured hip. Cavani did not travel with the team to Manchester.

Cavani received the injury over the weekend against Bordeaux. There is no timetable on his return.

PSG are already without Neymar for the round of 16. 

Benjamin Mendy insisted that he was not in Hong Kong after his an Instagram post showing his location.

“Hong Kong? F---, is he? He said he was going to Paris but Hong Kong – I don’t know/ I have to understand Instagram. Really, I don’t know. Yesterday he was in Barcelona," said Guardiola.

Guardiola added that he thought Mendy was in Spain receiving treatment.

Mendy said he was joking with his post. 

"I was just joking with my Uber driver, I don’t want no problems Pep,” Mendy tweet.

Manuel Neuer trained for the first time since last Thursday after suffering an injured thumb, giving Bayern Munich hope that he can return in time for their Champions League match against Liverpool.

Neuer sat out Bayern's 3-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen over the weekend.

"The thumb [Neuer's] is really fat, but in one or two days things should look different and he could be able to play. Of course, I was happy to be able to play again, but it was bitter news for Manuel," said backup keeper Sven Ulreich.

Neymar threw a lavish party for his 27th birthday featuring Dani Alves, Kylian Mbappe, and Thomas Tuchel.

During the celebration, he gave a tearful speech in which he wished he had a "new metatarsal". 

Neymar's injury will keep him out for 10 weeks, including missing PSG's clash against Manchester United in the Champions League. 

Lionel Messi has been named in Barcelona's squad ahead their El Clasico clash in the Copa del Rey.

Messi suffered a thigh injury over the weekend against Valencia. 

"It is true that sometimes we have had doubts with players and we have waited until the last moment. It's the same with Messi," said Ernesto Valverde.

Jurgen Klopp said he wouldn't prioritize either the league or European competition moving forward.

“We will try [to go for both], for sure. That is what we tried last year. There was the discussion this year when people said we should focus only on the league so now we are still in the Champions League and I am quite happy about it. We have a very difficult game yet listening to some people it seems we are already through because ‘It’s only Bayern Munich’. Have you looked at the team they have or how they are in shape now after the winter break?", stated Klopp.

Liverpool are short on depth in their backline as Joe Gomez undergoes another surgery.

They play their first leg against Bayern Munich on February 19th. 

Messi should be available for El Clasico on Wednesday despite picking up a knock in a 2-2 draw against Valencia.

Although Messi continued the match, Barcelona did confirm a minor injury that is "nothing serious".

Barcelona play Real Madrid on Wednesday in the semi-final of the Copa del Rey.

Joe Gomez may need another surgery on his broken leg, putting him out for an extended amount of time.

Gomez broke his leg in early December. Jurgen Klopp was not optimistic about his return.

“It is not exactly going how we want – that’s how it is. He needs more time. We will see exactly how we do it. There were different moments we thought we could do this or that but it will take time. We can not say more," said Klopp.
