Danny Rose Signs Five-Year Extension With Spurs

Sep 22, 2016 2:04 PM

Danny Rose has signed a new five-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur.

Rose committed to Spurs until 2021.

Rose has been out of Mauricio Pochettino’s side since August due to a hamstring injury but amy return on Saturday when Tottenham face Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

Speaking to Spurs TV, he said: “We all want to go out and prove that last season was not a one-off with us finishing third.

“Right now I am so happy, I am settled here, I am slowly turning into a southerner so I hope I can stay for a very long time and see where it takes me. At the minute I wouldn’t wish for anything more than to play for Spurs for the rest of my career.

“It’s been a great couple of weeks for the club with Dele, Eric, Christian and Harry Winks all signing contracts. Everyone knows that the club is going in the right direction and I’m over the moon that I’ll stay here until I’m an old man!”

Eric Dier Signs Five-Year Extension With Spurs

Sep 13, 2016 11:06 AM

Eric Dier has signed a new five-year extension with Tottenham Hotspur through 2021.

Tottenham recruited Dier for £4 million from Sporting Lisbon in 2014. Following a season of playing in defence, Pochettino transformed him into the classy defensive midfielder central to his team’s progress.

“There are many reasons I wanted to commit my future to Tottenham,” said Dier. “We have a fantastic squad full of young, exciting players. We’ve got the new stadium on its way, the fantastic facilities at the training ground, and a fantastic manager who’s great for all us young players.

“He really looks after us, and makes sure we keep improving. Wembley being filled with 80,000 or more Tottenham fans is going to be an amazing experience. Playing in the Champions League there is very unique, so those two things are going to be fantastic.”

Christian Eriksen Signs Extension With Spurs Through 2020

Sep 6, 2016 12:02 PM

Christian Eriksen has signed a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur that will keep him at the club until 2020.

Eriksen and Spurs have been in talks since March.

Eriksen joined Spurs from Ajax in 2013 and has become one of their most influential players.

"There is a great future at this place and I wouldn't have signed if I didn't see that," Eriksen said. "It's a very good group, players who connect with each other, staff who connect with the players.

"We all have an idea of where we want to end and hopefully we'll achieve that."

Mauricio Pochettino personally intervened in the contract talks amid fears they would affect Eriksen's form.
