Gareth Bale Signs Six-Year Extension With Real Madrid

Gareth Bale has agreed upon a new six-year deal with Real Madrid through 2022. Bale will earn £150 million ($183 million) over the next six years in salaries and bonuses.

Bale, 27, joined Real from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 for a fee of approximately €100 million.

Real Madrid has also signed Luka Modric and Toni Kroos to new extensions.

Bale's deal will contain a €500 million release clause.

Yannick Carrasco Extends Atleti Deal Through 2022

Yannick Carrasco has agreed to extend his contract with Atletico Madrid through 2022.

Carrasco joined Atleti in 2015 and has scored five goals in 11 matches so far this season.

Carrasco's salary has been increased while his release clause jumped from €40 million to €100 million.

"I'm really happy to be able to stay at Atlético Madrid for many years to come," Carrasco said.

Luka Modric has signed a contract extension with Real Madrid through 2020. Modric's previous deal expired in 2018.

Real Madrid signed Modric from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012.

Modric has played 180 senior games for Real Madrid, scoring 11 goals and providing 27 assists and has become a key player in their midfield.

Modric recently turned 31 years old.

Neymar To Finally Sign Barcelona Extension

Neymar is set to sign an extension with Barcelona through 2021 this week.

Neymar has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United despite agreeing upon an extension in July with Barcelona. But the deal was never formally signed.

Neymar's new buyout clause has been fixed at €200 million for the first year of the deal, €222 million for the second and will then increase to €250 million for the remaining three years.

Neymar's new net salary will be €16 million per season, below the totals earned annually by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Toni Kroos Doubles Real Madrid Salary To $22M Per Year With Extension

Toni Kroos has signed a new two-year extension with Real Madrid through June of 2022.

Kroos joined Madrid from Bayern Munich for €30 million in summer 2014.

Kroos has been linked to a move to Manchester City where he would reunite with former manager Pep Guardiola. Manchester United also were interested in Kroos.

Kroos has played 108 games for Madrid, scoring four goals, and winning Champions League, World Cup Cup and European Supercup medals.

Kroos will double his salary and receive $22 million per season.
