Martin Montoya Loaned By Barcelona To Inter On Two-Year Deal

Jun 27, 2015 10:34 AM

Barcelona defender Martin Montoya is set to join Inter on a two-year loan deal.

The two clubs have agreed a €1.5 million loan fee and Inter also have a non-compulsory option to purchase the player for an additional €6 million at the end of his temporary stay in Italy, which would mean a total transfer cost of €7.5 million if the Serie A side would like to go ahead with the deal.

Montoya will earn €1.5 million-per-year at San Siro - the same salary he was picking up at Camp Nou.

The right-back has been forced to play second fiddle to Dani Alves in recent years.

Chelsea Agrees To Loan For Radamel Falcao

Jun 16, 2015 5:28 PM

Chelsea has agreed with Monaco on a £4 million season-long loan deal for Radamel Falcao.

Falcao, currently at the Copa América with Colombia, will make a swift return to English football following his disappointing loan spell at Manchester United last season after a fortnight of talks between his agent Jorge Mendes and the Chelsea hierarchy.

United passed up on the chance to make the move permanent for £43.2 million. Chelsea will have a similar option to make the move permanent, though at closer to £35 million.

Falcao earns £265,000 a week under the terms of his contract.

Chelsea’s highest earner at present is Eden Hazard on around £200,000 a week and the new arrival is unlikely to match that salary.
