"I love you and I know you will go to the end and you will take the cup this year, God is with you all. I will miss the fans as well as the energy you bring to each game. I love you and God bless you. I hope that after these six months, I will be ready to return to the Parc des Princes and give everything to make you proud to be Parisian."

Zlatan Ibrahamivoc Rejects AC Milan Loan, Remains With LA Galaxy

Dec 10, 2018 7:24 PM

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will remain with the LA Galaxy this winter instead of heading to AC Milan on a loan move.

Milan have been trying to bring back the 37-year-old striker on loan during the MLS offseason. Ibrahimovic scored 22 goals in 27 games with the Galaxy.

"He gave his word to Galaxy that he would stay if they satisfied his conditions, and they did so," said AC Milan sporting director Leonard. "It would have been a really lovely story because it would have given a significant weight to the team. We can't deny that both parties thought of it, but it will not be possible."
