Luis Suarez Out At Least One Month, Will Miss World Cup Qualifiers

Luis Suarez will be out for at least one month due to a knee injury.

Suarez has a distension in the posterior articular capsule in his right knee suffered in Wednesday's match against Real Madrid.

Uruguay had earlier confirmed the striker's absence for "four to five weeks," ruling him out of his country's important World Cup qualifiers against Argentina on Aug. 31 and Paraguay on Sept. 5.

Alexis Sanchez has been ruled out of Friday's Premier League opener against Leicester City due to an abdominal strain.

Sanchez is likely to be "out for a while" and is also doubtful for the following week's game at Stoke City.
