Fernando Torres is unlikely to remain at Atletico Madrid next season.

Torres was told by Diego Simeone that he's not in the club's plans for the 16-17 campaign.

Torres is on loan from AC Milan.

Asked about Torres this week, Simeone was non-committal: “The other day I said there was nothing to say because there wasn’t. We’ve talked to Fernando and he knows what I think and he’s told me what he feels. The talk remains private. We’ve talked, which is the main thing.”

Chelsea is set to complete a loan move for Alexandre Pato of Corinthians.

Pato, who has made 27 appearances for the Brazil national team, joined Corinthians from AC Milan in 2013 but spent the last two years on loan at Sao Paulo before returning to his parent club last month.

Chelsea have held a long-term interest in Pato and they have decided to push through a deal to sign the skilful attacker on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move.

Barcelona is closing in on a loan deal for Nolito of Celta Vigo.

Nolito was capped for the first time by Spain last year and previously played for Luis Enrique.

Manchester United have asked Borussia Dortmund to cancel their season-long loan deal for Adnan Januzaj.

Januzaj has struggled with Dortmund, making just five appearances.

United have been disappointed with Januzaj's lack of involvement at the Westfalenstadion and are now looking to terminate his loan deal early to enable him to return to Old Trafford.

Isco would like to move to Manchester City on a loan from Real Madrid with an option to buy, according to John Cross of The Daily Mirror.

Cross was also the first to report City's interest in Raheem Sterling last January.

Isco has had a disappointing early part of the season under Rafa Benitez.

Isco played for Manuel Pellegrini at Malaga.
