Chelsea are attempting to recall Andreas Christensen from his loan deal at Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Christensen, signed from Brondby as a 15-year-old in 2012, joined Gladbach on a two-year loan deal last summer without break clauses after signing a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge and has started 24 games there.

Christensen is still just 19 and scouts from Bayern Munich and clubs in Spain have been interested in the center-half.

Cutting short the loan would need agreement from all three parties but, whereas Gladbach might have considered an offer, Christensen is understood to be more inclined to remain in Germany in the knowledge he will benefit from regular football for a further season. 

Giuseppe Marotta says he has no regrets about Juventus allowing Kingsley Coman to leave for Bayern Munich last summer.

Coman scored against Juventus last week in the Champions League.

Coman joined Bayern on a €7 million two-year loan and have until April of 2017 to exert their option to pay an additional €21 million to Juve to make it permanent.

Coman joined Juve on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2014.

"It was he who wanted to leave," Marotta told Mediaset television. "It was pointless trying to hold onto him against his wishes and we're going to benefit from a huge profit on him if they take their option anyway."

Coman has given much of the credit for his transformation to Bayern coach Pep Guardiola.

"I've always worked to reach the very best and I feel like I'm improving a lot," he told France's Telefoot. "Guardiola told me to go and create havoc and then go back to Douglas Costa if I got into difficulty. On a tactical level, I don't think there is anybody around like him. I can only say thanks for everything he's doing for me."
