Clint Dempsey is receiving interest on joining Stoke City, QPR and Aston Villa on a loan deal, according to the Daily Mirror.

Dempsey's season with the Seattle Sounders is winding down.

Dempsey joined Fulham on loan last season during the MLS offseason.

Dempsey has scored 15 goals and 10 assists this season in the MLS.

Toronto FC sold Doneil Henry to a club in Cyprus at the beginning of the season, making him technically on loan back to the club throughout the season.

Henry is an academy product and had been one of their most promising young players at 21.

TFC general manager Tim Bezbatchenko explained the reason the decision was not made public before Thursday: “In our position, the player wasn’t leaving; there was nothing changing about the player budget [and] there was even a chance he might be here next year. We thought it would be more of a distraction, more than anything.” 

Frank Lampard could extend his stay with Manchester City if New York City have a January training camp in Manchester at their new City Football Academy.

Lampard has proven to be a valuable player for City and was voted player of the month in September.

The option of NYC doing so is currently only a possibility but is being explored, with the MLS club also potentially playing some friendlies in the north-west area at the same time.

The MLS season does not start until March, with Lampard currently due to return to NYC towards the end of January.
