Adrian Rabiot has signed an extension with Paris Saint-Germain through the 2019 season.

Rabiot was due to become a free agent at the end of the current season and had rejected a five-year deal in the summer.

Rabiot had been linked with a number of clubs around Europe, including Arsenal and Chelsea, and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi had earlier confirmed to Le Parisien that talks had taken place with Roma before the close of the summer transfer window.

Rabiot is a product of PSG's academy.

"I am very happy to remain a player of Paris Saint-Germain, the club that made me the player I am today," he told the official PSG website. "I would like to thank the president, who kept discussions open in recent months and the sporting management for their support.

"It was here at Paris Saint-Germain that I grew up and enjoyed my first experiences as a player. The club's project is ambitious and I'm very proud to be a part of it for the coming years. Now I want to concentrate on my football, on my game and give my best for Paris Saint-Germain on the pitch and for the supporters."

Paul Pogba has signed a contract extension with Juventus that will run through 2019.

Pogba had been linked to a transfer in the offseason as his previous contract was set to expire in 2016. Paris Saint-Germain was one of the more interested parties in securing a transfer for the French international.

Pogba has become one of the world's best young midfielders at the age of 21 following his free transfer from Manchester United in 2012.

John O'Shea has agreed upon a two-year contract extension with Sunderland.

O'Shea is now signed through the 16-17 season.

"I am delighted that John has agreed to stay with us for at least another two years," head coach Gus Poyet told the club's official website.

"He is our captain, one of our leaders and I am sure he will continue to help us get better and stronger as a team.

"I really look forward to continuing to work with John."

Daniel Sturridge has officially signed a long-term extension with Liverpool that runs through 2019.

"It feels great. It's a big day in my life to commit to this club and to give the club my best years, which are ahead of me," Sturridge told liverpoolfc.com. "I am thankful for the opportunity and that is the reason I committed my future. Everyone has been great with me, from the fans to the staff to the players, so it was an easy decision. I'm happy with how everything is going."

Sturridge is 25 and had a breakout season in 13-14.
