The 2019-20 Champions League draw has been set with the first matches scheduled for September 17th and 18th.

Real Madrid are linked with Pepe Reina or Willy Caballero as a backup for Thibaut Courtois.

The news comes on the heels of Keylor Navas requesting a move away from the club.

Real Madrid are looking for a veteran stopgap until 20-year-old Andriy Lunin returns from a season-long loan at Real Valladolid. 

Davide Zappacosta has joined Roma from Chelsea on a season loan.

Zappacosta joined Chelsea for an initial £23 million from Torino in 2017.

Zappacosta is the third defender to leave Chelsea since May, following David Luiz and Gary Cahill.

Zappacosta has not held down a regular starting place at Chelsea.

David Luiz and Kieran Tierney could move to Arsenal ahead of the Thursday transfer deadline.

Luiz, who recently signed a two-year extension with Chelsea, sat out training on Wednesday.

Arsenal are expected to secure Tierney in a $28 million transfer deal.
