Sergio Aguero has signed a one-year extension with Manchester City that will keep him at the club until June 2021.

Aguero signed a five-year deal in 2014 and a one-year extension in summer 2016, and will be 33 when his contract expires.

"I am happy for this additional year," Aguero said. "My idea was being here for 10 years. I've been here for seven years [and] it's going to be 10 when the contract expires.

"This was the main reason I signed. I'm very happy because they have treated my very well since the first day I got here. I'm very happy with everything that involves the club, my teammates, the staff and the management team."

Jordan Henderson has signed a long-term extension with Liverpool through 2023.

Henderson joined Liverpool from Sunderland in 2011 and was named captain in 2015.

"I'm very happy to have signed a new contract for a long period of time. I'm absolutely delighted," said Henderson.
