Roma has agreed to acquire Romelu Lukaku on a season-long loan from Chelsea. 

Roma will cover Lukaku's salary totaling €7.5 million over 10 months. 

Luakaku spent three years on Chelsea’s books between 2011-14 but made just 10 appearances between loan spells at West Brom and Everton, to join up with the former Blues manager Jose Mourinho in Rome.

Joao Cancelo will go from Manchester City to Barcelona on a loan that contains an option to be made permanent. 

The move will be Cancelo’s second loan spell in seven months after he joined Bayern Munich at the end of the previous transfer window.

Bayern declined the option to sign Cancelo on a permanent basis and it was suggested Arsenal would make a move for him this summer. 

Sergino Dest has joined PSV Eindhoven on a season-long loan from Barcelona. 

Dest have an €11 million ($12 million) option to make the move permanent next summer.

After spending last season on loan at AC Milan, Dest returned to Barca in the summer with the intention of making a place for himself in Xavi Hernandez's squad.

Barcelona and Manchester City are working on a loan deal for Joao Cancelo. Cancelo finished last season on a loan from City with Bayern Munich.

Barcelona are keen to land Cancelo to fill a void at right-back. Julián Araujo has been loaned to Las Palmas while Sergiño Dest is free to find a new club.

Real Madrid have signed goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan from Chelsea.

Thibaut Courtois suffered an ACL tear in training last week.

Kepa was previously on the verge of joining Madrid from Athletic in January 2018, but a change of plans saw the club opt to sign Courtois later that year.

Kepa then replaced Courtois at Chelsea in a record €80 million ($87.6 million) deal for a goalkeeper.

Chelsea signed Kepa's Spain teammate Robert Sánchez from Brighton as their new No. 1 last week.
