Takefusa Kubo has signed a 6-year deal with Real Madrid following a $2.2 million transfer move from FC Tokyo.

Kubo was previously in Barcelona's youth academy but returned to Japan after the club were sanctioned partially due to his initial signing.

Kubo will begin play under Raul at Castilla.

Southampton officially unveiled Moussa Djenepo following his transfer of just under $16 million from Standard Liege.

The 20-year-old Djenepo scored 11 goals in his breakout season. Southampton scored a total of 45 league goals last season. 

Ralph Hasenhuttl said that Djenepo possesses “tremendous pace and good finishing abilities."

Aston Villa are ready to break their transfer record in adding striker Wesley Moraes from Club Brugge for $27 million.

Moraes is Villa's third signing as they prepare to compete in the Premier League.

“The potential of the football club is massive. It feels right that Villa are in the Premier League, the history and the size of the club, the fanbase that it has, I believe it is a Premier League club and that's not me being a supporter. We've got two owners [Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens] who have got a lot of money, and are in it for the long haul," said manager Dean Smith.

Luka Jovic said that he and Karim Benzema can compliment each other's games at Real Madrid next season.

"He's one of the best [forwards] in the world and I hope to learn a lot from him. I think we're compatible, but Zidane will decide," said Jovic as he was unveiled at the club.

Jovic added that he has yet to speak with Zinedine Zidane.

"I will play anywhere: alone [in attack], with another striker... I'm here to fight," added Jovic.

Atletico Madrid announced that they will sign Mexican striker Nico Ibanez.

"Atletico Madrid and Atletico San Luis have reached an agreement for the transfer of Nicolas Ibanez. The Argentine striker will be registered once the summer transfer window opens on July 1," wrote the club in a statement.

The 24-year-old Ibanez has scored 22 goals in 50 matches for Atletico San Luis.

Eden Hazard officially joined Real Madrid from Chelsea for just over $112 million.

Hazard signed a 5-year deal with the Spanish side.

“Real Madrid CF and Chelsea FC have agreed to the transfer of Eden Hazard. The player remains linked to the club during the next five seasons, until 30 June 2024.
