Elon Musk is considering putting in a bid to buy Manchester United. Musk claims he grew up as a fan of the club.

The Glazer family is seeking $7.3 billion for a full takeover, but are open to a partial sale as well.

Bloomberg recently confirmed that a consortium of Qatari investors are set to make an offerfor the club with assistance from the Qatar Investment Authority, the country’s sovereign wealth fund.

Manchester City have been charged by the Premier League for breaking financial fair play rules across nine seasons. 

The Premier League confirmed that a number of alleged breaches between the 2009-10 and 2017-18 seasons.

City have been charged with more than 100 breaches of rules which required the club, according to the Premier League, to provide "accurate financial information that gives a true and fair view of the club's financial position."

Pep Guardiola has guided the club to three league titles since his appointment in 2016.
