Neymar will miss six to eight weeks after sustaining ligament damage in his left ankle on Sunday.

Neymar was stretchered off the field on 85 minutes.

Neymar took to Instagram after the game and promised to come back stronger from the injury.

"Unfortunately, these setbacks are a part of an athlete's life," he said on Instagram.

"Now you have to raise your head and move on. I will come back better and stronger."

Paul Pogba could miss two months after suffering a thigh injury during training with France on Monday.

Initial tests undertaken by the French FA and reported to United have indicated Pogba could be sidelined for between six and eight weeks. Pogba is set to return to Manchester for further scans to give club medical staff a clearer picture of the problem.

Pogba has seven months remaining on his contract with Manchester United. 

Roberto Firmino has suffered a "serious" hamstring injury and is unlikely to return after the international break next week.

Firmino limped off a substitute in Wednesday's Champions League match against Atletico Madrid. 

"Losing Bobby Firmino is a blow," Klopp told a news conference."I don't think I need to say how big it is. It's a serious injury.

"We talk about weeks -- more than four I consider as a serious injury. Then we have to see. Bobby is a quick healer."
