Liverpool has signed Edvard Tagseth, who also received interest from Manchester United and Everton.

Tagseth is just 14 years old and is considered the next great Norwegian prodigy after Martin Odegaard.

Tagseth will remain in Norway until he turns 16.

"It feels good to finally be done with it and to decide on a club," he said.

"I felt it was best club for me. I enjoyed myself best there."

Ashley Young has agreed upon a three-year deal with Manchester United.

Young, whose current deal has entered its final year, had begun preliminary talks over a renewal last season but he said in July that he had yet to agree an extension.

Young's play has improved under Louis Van Gaal.
