John Terry Signs Extension With Chelsea Through 15-16

John Terry has signed an extension with Chelsea until the end of the 2015-16 season.

“This new contract is not to say: ‘Thank you very much’,” said José Mourinho. “It is because John continues to perform. He is a top defender. I am happy that he completely deserves this new contract after a season where he has already played 40 matches.”

Terry has made 661 appearances for chelsea since his debut in 1998.

“I’m delighted to have signed an extension to my contract with Chelsea,” said Terry. “After adding another major trophy to my collection this month I hope myself, the players and manager can continue to bring success to our club. Playing for this great club makes me so proud. And as always I would like to thank the fans who have continually supported me.”

Xavi Signs Three-Year, €30M Deal With Al Saad SC Of Qatar

Xavi has signed a three-year deal with Al Saad SC worth €30 million.

Xavi will replace Raul.

Xavi had spent his entire career with Barcelona.

While with Al Saad, Xavi will also act as an adviser to the Aspire Academy and also plans to study for his coaching license.

Xavi also had options in the MLS, but the financial package in Qatar was far stronger.

Martin Demichelis Extends Contract At City Through 15-16

Martin Demichelis has extended his contract with Manchester City through the 15-16 season.

Demichelis, 34, has made 30 appearances for City this season.

"Manchester City is a club with a lot of ambition," said Demichelis. "When you get to hold a trophy, it's the best feeling for any player."

He added: "I will fight for this club and for my team-mates until the end of my contract. I will fight to try and win titles."

Demichelis joined City from Atlético Madrid in 2013.
