Real Madrid have interest in a transfer for Raheem Sterling and are monitoring his situation with Manchester City.

Sterling is in the final two seasons of his deal with City and there are no signs of an extension being agreed to yet.

"Definitely, it would be nice to play abroad. It would be a great experience. Spain's attractive. Anywhere the weather is nice really," Sterling said in December 2017.

Real Madrid has yet to formally approach City on a transfer for Sterling.

Sterling signed a five-year deal following his £49 million move from Liverpool in July 2015.
