Manchester United and Jose Mourinho have not made significant progress on a contract extension.

Mourinho signed a three-year deal with United when he was hired in 2016.

Preliminary contract talks began in September.

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly has interest in Mourinho as Unai Emery is under pressure to win the Champions League.

Mourinho told ESPN FC during last summer's preseason tour of the United States that he could stay at Old Trafford for "15 years."

In an interview with French broadcaster TF1 last month, he described PSG, who sanctioned a world record deal for Neymar in the summer, as "special" and "magic."
