Alvaro Morata does not anticipate another return to Real Madrid. Morata left Real Madrid for Juventus in 2014 but was bought back before the 16-17 season. Morata was then sold this summer to Chelsea.

"Of course I would return to Real Madrid once I win all there is to win with Chelsea and after a long and successful career at Chelsea," Morata said. "It's difficult to say no to Madrid, especially for a Madridista. You never know, but I think it's very difficult and I honestly don't think it's going to happen.

"It's something I don't even consider. I owe a lot to Chelsea. I'm very happy at Chelsea and the only thing on my mind is playing for Chelsea."

Morata was only given 14 La Liga start by Zinedine Zidane.

"Of course I'm jealous of [Dani] Carvajal and Nacho [Fernandez]," Morata said of the two Real youth products that have earned regular first-team action under Zidane. "Real Madrid is the top team that there is. Of course I would have liked to have spent my whole life at Real Madrid but if it cannot be, it cannot be and you have to move on.

"I was happy in Madrid but in the end, I didn't play against any of the top teams like Barcelona. I have this personality and I want to play and be important wherever I am. Zidane understood this and I'm grateful that he did and he allowed me to leave."

Morata signed a five-year deal with Chelsea.

"I'm very happy and it's evident," he said. "I'm the center forward for a very important club in England. I have the opportunity to make history. If I win the Premier League, I think I will become the first Spanish player to win the league in Italy, Spain and England."
