Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang still has interest in a move to Real Madrid but he's revealed talks were held with Manchester City.

Aubameyang scored 39 goals in all competitions last season for Borussia Dortmund.

“It’s true, there was contact,” he told Onze when asked about summer links with City. “My father held talks with the club, but in the end there was nothing concrete. I think there was interest [from Real Madrid], but it was more distant so I didn’t get too carried away.”

Aubameyang said Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have also expressed interest.

“I was asked in interview: ‘What is the club of your dreams?’ I replied: ‘Real is the club of my heart and I made a promise to my grandfather to play there one day, I hope it will happen.’

“So it's just a target, I still have time. If they want me, they will come.”
