FC Sion have opened up talks to sign Mario Balotelli of Liverpool.

Balotelli is free to leave Liverpool this summer as he's not in Jurgen Klopp's plans.

Besiktas, Sassuolo, Bologna and Nantes have all been touted as possible destinations for Balotelli.

Balotelli joined Liverpool from AC Milan for £16 million in August 2014, but after a disappointing debut campaign he was shipped back to Milan on a season-long loan the following summer.
