John Terry has signed a new one-year deal to remain at Chelsea.
Terry first joined Chelsea at the age of 14 and it looked like his career with the club was coming to an end this season.
“I am delighted to sign a new contract with the club,” said Terry. “Everyone knows I’m Chelsea through and through. I am looking forward to next season under the new manager and hopefully we can make it a successful one. Also, a special mention to the fans for their continued support. You’re the best in the world.”
Terry's play has dropped this season but he'll continue next season under Antonio Conte.
Terry had been linked to a move to the MLS but he reportedly was unable to agree upon contract terms.
