Borussia Dortmund has acquired Ousmane Dembele from Rennes.

Dembele had emerged as one of the best 18-year-olds in the world.

“Dortmund have looked at me for a long time and have always been in close contact with me and their conduct has really impressed me,” he said.

“The concept of Borussia totally convinces me. I can’t wait to start playing games in the Signal Iduna Park in front of 80,000 people and to play in the Champions League.”

Dembele will sign a five-year deal with Dortmund after also being targeted by Liverpool, Barcelona and others.
