The father of Edinson Cavani said his son remains unhappy with his role at Paris Saint-Germain and believes he should join Real Madrid, Manchester United or Juventus.

Cavani joined PSG from Napoli in 2013 for €64 million.

Cavani has been forced to a wide role to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"I want him to win the Champions League, but he has to play for one of the few teams who can do so," he said. "You have to go to Barcelona, Real or Manchester, who invest in order to be European champions. It's like with our national team -- I always say that even our grandchildren won't see them winning the World Cup."

Cavani Sr. said he doesn't believe PSG are Champions League contenders.

"PSG can win titles in France," he said. "They are not quick enough or lively enough. They are a slow team. When they play in the Champions League, you can see the problems. They will win everything in France, but you have to accept that winning the Champions League will be very difficult."
