Tottenham Hotspur are close to signing Heung-Min Son of Bayer Leverkusen on a $34 million transfer.

Spurs have had a bid rejected for West Brom's Berahino last week.

Tottenham are attempting to add a forward to give more cover to Harry Kane.

Son has scored 21 goals in 62 Bundesliga games for Leverkusen, while scoring five times in 19 Champions League appearances following his move from Hamburg in 2013. Son can play anywhere in Tottenham's preferred front three and has experience playing as a second striker behind a targetman.
