Jackson Martinez has agreed to join AC Milan with Porto set to accept a €35 million transfer fee.

Earlier this week, Milan general manager Adriano Galliani flew out to Portugal to try to negotiate a deal with the Colombian striker, and Porto's Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa said a deal was now in place.

"Jackson Martinez has chosen Milan," Da Costa told Porto Canal. "I want him to be happy."

Martinez had also been linked with Arsenal and Valencia.

"He has top physical strengths. Hugely efficient, he is the kind of player who can make room for himself in the box," Arsene Wenger said in February.
