Real Madrid has joined Liverpool and Atlético Madrid in signing Ivan Rakitic of Sevilla.

Rakitic has 11 goals and 10 assists this season with Sevilla, who has him signed for just one more season on his existing contract. Sevilla has offered Rakitic a new deal.

A senior Real Madrid executive has already met with Rakitic's agent.
