Barcelona will reportedly target Juan Mata in January 2016 after their transfer ban is lifted.

Mata has struggled since being sold by Chelsea to Manchester United in January of 2014.

Barcelona tried to land Mata from Valencia in 2010, but the club rejected the move only to see Mata sold to Chelsea the following summer.

Mata spent his youth career with Real Madrid and Real Oviedo.
