Manchester United are considering a move for Dynamo Kiev's highly rated Austrian defender Aleksandar Dragovic, sources have told ESPN FC.

United have been searching for defensive reinforcements for some time after failing to bring in a central defender last summer.

Louis van Gaal has been linked with a host of names, including Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels and Aston Villa's Ron Vlaar, but sources said Dragovic figures highly on his wanted list.
