Xherdan Shaqiri has vowed to give his best for Bayern Munich and come to terms with their decision not to sell him.

Shaqiri was the subject of a bid from Liverpool during the summer, while Juventus and Roma were also interested.

"I've still got a contract until 2016 and the club have already told me I won't be going anywhere so I've just got to accept that," he told Sport1. "For as long as I am here, I will give everything I've got.

"I try to do my best in training and when the coach rewards me with appearances, like against Hannover, then that's even better. I'm always delighted when I can start games, and I show that too, like I did this time. I think everybody could see how hungry I am to play football."
