Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have joined Ajax and Barcelona in the semifinals of the 2019 Champions League. Spurs have never reached the semifinals in club history, while Ajax returns to the semifinals for the first time since 1997. Barcelona returns for the first time since winning the competition in 2015, a surprisingly long drought for their club. Liverpool reached the final in 2018.
