Manchester United will ramp up their efforts to find a new manager during the international break. United would like to appoint a new manager before the end of the season.

Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag remain the leading two candidates for the job.

United are also monitoring the potential availability of Thomas Tuchel. 

United have sounded out both Pochettino and Ten Hag about becoming their next permanent manager but were keen to keep negotiations informal while their clubs were still in the Champions League.
