Chelsea have signed Thomas Tuchel to a two-year contract extension.

Tuchel signed an 18-month contract when he replaced Frank Lampard in January. Tuchel went on to win the Champions League, which triggered a two-year extension and an increase on his £7 million per year salary.

“I cannot imagine a better occasion for a contract renewal,” Tuchel said. “I am grateful for the experience and very happy to stay part of the Chelsea family. There is far more to come and we are looking forward to our next steps with ambition and much anticipation.”

Tuchel's deal now runs through 2024.
