Real Sociedad has offered a chance for Xabi Alonso to return to the club in a coaching role.

Alonso would have a position in developing youth players as part of the club's B or C team.

Alonso is currently the manager of Real Madrid's youth side. The Real Sociedad offer would come with the plan that Alonso would eventually take over the senior team after gaining experience.
