Manchester United has Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the only serious candidate for their managerial job.

No other current manager or coach has been approached to discuss the position.

Solskjaer has reportedly moved ahead of Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino and Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December on an interim basis.
