Athletic Bilbao have signed Ibai Gomez from Alaves.

Adhering to their Basque-only policy, the 29-year-old striker was born in Bilbao and made his Athletic debut in 2010. Athletic currently sit two points above the relegation zone.  

Gomez scored 15 goals in 81 matches with Alaves.
