Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis are set to join Rangers in the winter transfer window. 

The 36-year-old Defoe has only made four appearances for Bournemouth this season, while the 34-year-old Davis has played in just three matches for Southampton.

Steven Gerrard's side are level on points with Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
