Josep Maria Bartomeu claims Barcelona has never received a call from a rival club about how much Lionel Messi is worth to them.

"No one has ever called us to ask us how much Messi is worth," said Bartomeu.

Bartomeu believes Messi will have the chance to win more Champions League titles with Barcelona. Barcelona has won just one Champions League since 2011.

"There is still time for Messi to win one, two or three Champions Leagues before he retires," he said. "We have always said that in the Champions League consistency isn't the most important thing.

"Real Madrid have had good Champions League games recently. We need to keep working on that aspect to get to finals."
