Dirk Nowitzki has been offered an advisory role with Bayern Munich.

"If Dirk is looking for a role as an advisor after his playing career is over, then he would be warmly welcomed," Uli Hoeness said.

Nowitzki is a lifelong supporter of the soccer club.

Nowitzki signed a new two-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks this offseason.
