Leicester have reached an agreement with Genk to sign the 19-year-old Wilfred Ndidi in January.

Leicester have been searching for midfield reinforcements since losing N'Golo Kante to Chelsea in the summer. Ndidi can also play as a central defender.

Ndidi will command a £15 million ($19 million) fee that includes £3.5 million in add-ons.

Reports in Nigeria have suggested United could also be interested in signing him although Leicester are understood to be in pole position for the player who has already won two senior caps.
