Liverpool hope to raise funds from southeast Asia by holding talks on a sponsorship deal on a main stand and to sell Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli is on loan with AC Milan and is not in Jurgen Klopp's plans.

Liverpool paid £16 million to sign Balotelli from Milan in 2014 and is under contract until 2017.

Mino Raiola has started sounding out potential suitors and clubs in China and Turkey have expressed interest.

The financial hit they are taking on Balotelli, however, would be softened significantly should a permanent transfer to China materialise this summer. The Chinese Super League outspent the Premier League in January and that expenditure.
