Jordon Ibe has signed a long-term extension with Liverpool.

Ibe, who broke into the first team after a successful loan spell at Derby earlier this season, has committed to a new five-year deal which substantially improves the terms he was on from his time with the academy.

"Liverpool are a great club and I like the philosophy here," Ibe told liverpoolfc.com

"I've just been brought into the first team and I've enjoyed the games I've played in. Hopefully I can just keep doing well at the club.

"I just want to take that into pre-season and then next season, continuing with how it's been since I've been back here."
