Dani Alves' contract with Barcelona expires in June and the club has shown little interest in keeping him.

Despite a current transfer ban until January 2016 which means Barca are unable to sign a replacement next summer, and a lack of other proven options at right-back, Blaugrana president Josep Maria Bartomeu and coach Luis Enrique have both said there is no rush on entering into negotiations over a new deal.

Alves is represented by his ex-wife Deborah Santana.

"Disappointed is not the word," Santana said. "Yes, we did expect there would be some contact, but this is not a disappointment. We are more sad than disappointed. There has not even been any move made."
